Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a ritual obligation for a Muslim that need to be performed and never be waived. There many verses of the Quran and hadiths that highlight the importance to educate prayer for our children from their young age. Even though our children manage to get their education about prayer at school but we also need to facilitate the spread of knowledge continuously and available anywhere effectively. Today, Malaysia is badly hit by COVID-19, schools are forced to close and students had to learn online. So, we need an alternative platform to continue the learning process. Thus, it motivates us to initiate, develop, and innovate “Adik-Adik Solat 2.0 (AR)" an augmented reality mobile learning apps to enhance the learning experience in prayers. This app was developed in line with the current technology where virtual reality technology is used as an added value to support VAK (Video, Auditory, Kinesthetic) learning styles. By benefiting from this app, it will help teachers to innovate their teaching styles and manage to engage their students with the use of technology. Besides that, this app also helps the education sector to increase the digital content for the benefit of society. Through this app, the exploratory learning method can be applied to the students and all walks of life to learn prayer easily, effectively, flexibly, engaging, and fun. In order to justify the ease of use and fulfilling the development objective, we manage to undergo a User Acceptance Test (UAT) with preschool students, primary school students, teachers, academicians, and industry players. Based on the positive feedback and the achievement to fulfill the technology readiness level (TRL) this app will be added to Google Playstore and will be commercialized. As a social responsibility towards the young generation, it is hoped that by using the apps we manage to instill faith and great Islamic values in them.
