Ivy Chung is the Director for Center of Innovation & Commercialization at Universiti Malaya (UMCIC), Malaysia. Her portfolio in UM innovation ecosystem includes industrial collaboration, licensing, commercialization and business startups. Prior to this, she has been serving as the Deputy Dean for Health & Wellbeing Research Cluster, Universiti Malaya. She was also briefly attached to Novartis (M) Corporation under the Ministry of Education CEO@Faculty 2.0 program. She is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine in UM. With a PhD in molecular pharmacology, her research focus is mainly in preclinical drug development and oncology research.
